Suzzane is an imperative part of this year's ATWB success. She comes as an alum's sister and carries the ATWB pride strong. Suzzane always has a smile on her face and always finds a way to make the best out of every situation. After being out of the sport for awhile because of an injury, and now has come back dropping time in the 200 & 500. Suzzane is a wonderful part of ATWB! We can't wait to see what your future holds!
Carly comes to ATWB with a great background as she was a club swimmer for many years. She has a wide range of skill including a stellar 200 IM and 100 Breast. She continues to drop time at nearly every meet and continues to impress everyone with her versatility. Way to go, Carly. Your ATWB future is so bright!!!
Congratulations to 9th grader, Regina Brisbois. Regina was the golden bobble winner for the Leyden meet as she brings her fierce nature to the races she participates in. Regina is multi-sport athlete as she is a wrestler as well. Regina has been competing and winning on the frosh/soph level this year and we can't wait to see what she does in years to come. Way to go Regina!
Congratulations to Ellie Hassler for being named The Golden Bobble Winner for the Riverside-Brookfield meet. Ellie is courageous swimmer who overcomes all challenges in front of her. She is ray of sunshine and commits herself to the daily grind of swimming. We are so excited to have you as part of our team, Ellie! Thanks for always being ready to take on any challenge. ATWB loves you!
Congrats to Kaitlyn Fox on getting the Golden Bobble at DGS. Kaitlyn is a junior on the team and has been working her butt off at practice. She is doing a great job and it showed at that meet when she went her best in season time in her 500 free. Kaitlyn is a teammate that never sits out and always puts her all in and her teammates are noticing. Kaitlyn has constantly improved in the 500 over the past 3 years and this year is no exception. Great job, Kaitlyn!
Congratulations to Nancy Obrzut on being the 1st Golden Bobble winner of this season. Nancy comes to the team this year as a 9th grader who has a boat load of potential. Nancy has shown her skill thus far in several events but has been especially aggressive and skillful in the 50 free. She impressed the team with a 26 split at the tail end of the 200 Medley Relay at her first meet. This was a by far a best time that shocked even her. Nancy has since swam 27s in a few races that show her lightening fast swim was not just a fluke. Great work, Nancy, and keep rocking those Crocs.
Maria Briseno is the Golden Bobble Award winner for the Hinsdale South meet. Maria is a recent addition to the AT-WB swim team as she also within the last year just moved here from Mexico. Maria is such an enthusiastic and hard-working young lady. She joined the team this year during her junior year and has been working tirelessly which has shown up in the pool and at dry-land. During the Hinsdale South meet, Maria swam the 50 and 100 freestyle where she dropped over 10 seconds combined. Her enthusiasm when she saw her times was such a fun moment for all of her teammates.
